Chapter 2: The Customer Is Our Most Important A$$et
Building any business takes research, development, money, time, dedication, and perseverance not to mention a quality product or service. Sure, a well run, well-funded marketing campaign can generate a ton of business initially but it can not sustain it year after year unless the products or services provided are at least of adequate value to warrant repeat business. Nothing can ruin a business faster than a dissatisfied customer. Without fail they will tell everyone humanly possible about their experience and warn them to avoid it at all costs. On the contrary, nothing can grow a business faster than a happy, satisfied customer. Their overwhelming enthusiasm overcomes even the most skeptical attitudes and belays any fears a potential customer, usually a friend or relative, may have about trying something new. There are no newspaper ads, television commercials, or radio spots you can run that can replace the growth potential turning out customer after satisfied customer will provide.
